CONSTRUCTEUR

Shipbuilder ALFAMARINE

AFAMARINE is an Italian shipyard founded in 1976. Based in the town of Fiumicino in the Lazio region of Italy, it specializes in the construction and repair of motor yachts. Founder Marcello Fazioli, always passionate about racing boats, brings the shipyard to life by building his first Bronte 40 prototype, designed in collaboration with Renato Sonny Levi and Franco Harrauer. Alfamarine is the first shipbuilder to use fixed surface drive as part of the yacht's propulsion system. The site is a family organization. When Andrea Fazioli joined his father at the head of the shipyard, he marked a great technological advance, by embarking on the construction of composite yachts from 13 to 23 meters long, equipped with double or triple engine installations. Another milestone for the company was the construction of the Alfamarine 140 ', a 43-meter vessel with MCA certification that led the shipyard to the world of mega-yachts. Alfamarine’s goal remains the design of luxury composite yachts. The shipyard also has Travelifts, the skills and experience required to perform service and maintenance work. Over the years, the shipyard has increased its capacities and started close collaborations with other shipyards in the Mediterranean. Alfamarine Yachts is now in charge of handling and restoring their yachts, as well as those of the Ferretti group of which they are part.
