L'imbarcazione a vela VAGRANT è stato costruito nel 1913 presso il costruttore americano HERRESHOFF. VAGRANT (Tipo: goélette) ha uno scafo realizzato in acier ed una superstruttura in legno. La lunghezza è di 33,2 metri per una larghezza di 7,6 metri ed un’immersione di 4,5 metri. L’esterno dell’imbarcazione è realizzato da NATHANIEL G. HERRESHOFF. Nello yacht VAGRANT la propulsione è costituita da due motori MERCEDES che arrivano a produrre in totale fino a 400 cavalli che può arrivare ad una velocità massima di 12 nodi.
